Garanti BBVA Fraud Prevention Case

In this study, I conducted a thorough examination of bank fraud perpetrated under the guise of call center communications. Drawing from my own experiences, I delved into a deep empathy-building process with the victims of such scams. Furthermore, I evaluated the fraud prevention strategies of the bank I use, assessing the practices in this area. I approached the topic with my personal perspective and proposed solutions, aiming to offer practical remedies for this serious issue. Particularly, I suggested an innovative solution for verifying calls from the bank: utilizing a mobile application and a widget on the iOS home screen to display real-time information such as the call center employee's name and the duration of the call. This proposal could be a significant step towards detecting fraudulent attempts and enhancing user security.
